Compassionate Care Senior Service's Staff

Sherry Cole, B.S., M.S., GCM Sherry is a graduate of Missouri Southern State University with an Associate of Arts degree and a Bachelor’s of Science degree in education. She also holds a Master’s degree in Education from Pittsburg State University. Sherry has experience as a medical laboratory technician, specializing in clinical chemistry and microbiology. She is a former public school educator and administrator. She has also served as the Joplin Regional Manager for the Southwest Missouri Chapter of the Alzheimer’s Association for several years. Now, Sherry is a dedicated Geriatric Care Manager and is well-versed in counseling families and caregivers whose loved ones are affected by Alzheimer’s and related dementias. She was a caregiver for her mother and grandmother, who also had Alzheimer’s disease. Sherry is a regular guest speaker for many organizations and groups throughout the country, on various topics related to the aging process, caregiving, Alzheimer’s, and communicating with your parents. Sherry is available for speaking engagements and personal appearances.

Kerri Still, B.S., M.S. Kerri is originally from Joplin, Missouri, and has just returned to the area with over 22 years of healthcare experience in the areas of pharmacy, community education, quality improvement, human resources and employee benefits and insurance. She possesses a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Connecticut in Molecular and Cellular Biology and has a Masters Degree in Health Care Administration from Bellevue University. She has over 10 years experience in the life and health insurance industry specializing in individual, group and senior insurance. She has a vast understanding of Medicare, prescription part D plans, long term care, life insurance, annuities and various other assistance programs available for seniors. She can help you with Veteran's Assistance as well. 

Jerry is originally from Chanute, Kansas, attended Pittsburg State University and Missouri Southern State University with a major in Marketing and Management. He has over 35 years of experience with finance and operations. Jerry was responsible for starting the handyman portion of Compassionate Care Senior Services. He realized the need for seniors to have low-cost, honest handyman services while helping his mother and her friends. Jerry says that seniors are often taken advantage of by persons who see their vulnerability.

Erin is originally from North Carolina.  She has over 15 years experience in Office Management and 10 years in the Accounting field.  Erin is currently enrolled at Missouri Southern State University and is completing a degree in Business.  She is a single mom to a terrific little boy.  Erin would be happy to help with all of your financial questions, including those regarding long-term care insurance.

Beth is originally from Louisville, Kentucky.  She has over 16 years experience in caregiving as well as working as staffing coordinator for a large non-medical company in Louisville.  Her skills and experience in staffing are a definite asset to our management team. She is a mother of two grown children, and just recently a new grandson.
